The Art of Queer Zines (Zine Making Workshop)
Sunday, June 11th, 2023 at 1pm PST
Celebrate Pride month by tapping into the rich history of LGBTQ+ self-publication and its role in the queer liberation movement. Queer zinesters in love, Rachel and Candace will discuss the history of queer zine making and invite participants to create their own zines inspired by this history and guided by prompts. Brows Rachel and Candaces’ personal zine collection, and create collaborative mini-zines and one of a kind originals. Materials will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring supplies or images they wish to use as well. Queer joy, queer rage, and everything in between; let it all out in your cut-and-paste zine!
